There are two new entries in the Spring-Summer 2009 collection - the new Tri-ProPad and the 11 SPEED line.

11 SPEED LINE
The new 11 SPEED Campagnolo Cycling Apparel line is the perfect synthesis between performance and comfort. Campagnolo raises the level in 2009, with the launch of three new 11 Speed groupsets and also a new line of 11 SPEED clothing that represents the top articles in the new Spring Summer 2009 Campagnolo Cycling Apparel collection.

The 11 SPEED line is quite simply the best on the market, matching the philosophy behind the new Campagnolo 11-speed groupsets.

The 11 SPEED line has been created to deliver:

- Maximum lightness, thanks to the finest lightest microfibre on the market
- Maximum breathability, excellent absorption of perspiration, and an extraordinary capacity to keep body temperature constant
- Maximum protection from UV rays, blocking 98% of harmful rays
- Maximum wearability, 360° stretch fabrics constantly provide ideal muscle compression, thus improving the cyclist's comfort and performance.

TRI-PROPAD
When Campagnolo Cycling Apparel set out to design its new Tri-ProPad, it went right back to the drawing-board, threw out all its previous ideas and started from scratch.
Study for this new project focused on three fundamental points: ergonomics, technology and structure.

A one-size pad for all would not be practical as this concept would invalidate all the effort taken in determining ideal ergonomics and structure.

Tri-ProPad is available in 3 versions: Tri-ProPad Tech, Tri-ProPad Pro, Tri-ProPad Woman.

The Tri-ProPad Tech is used in the new 11 SPEED and RACING lines in the Spring-Summer 2009 Campagnolo Cycling Apparel Collection.

The Tri-ProPad Pro is used in the new RAYTECH, FACTORY TEAM and HERITAGE lines in the Spring-Summer 2009 Campagnolo Cycling Apparel Collection.

The Tri-ProPad Woman is used in the new lines RACING WOMAN and W's in the Spring-Summer 2009 Campagnolo Cycling Apparel Collection.

ARTIFICIAL LEATHER
A very supple artificial leather used for the palms and uppers of gloves, 60% polyamide, 40% polyurethane.

CORDURA
A material with rugged durability and lightweight strength, offering high abrasion resistance.

COOLDRY
A fabric that integrates the comfort of cotton and the quick-dry performance of polyester. It maximizes the transfer of moisture from the skin to the fabric’s outer surface through a combination of special characteristics that are the result of fabric spinning, material design and unique finishing methods. At the same time, its unique structure makes the fabric more breathable, soft and comfortable. This ensures dry skin and fabrics that provide a feeling of health and comfort.

CLEANGUARD
A finish which makes water and dirt rolls off easily.

COOLMAX
A high-tech fabric specially developed to keep your body dry and comfortable. The material is made of a special polyester fibre that immediately transports perspiration away from your body to the outside of the fabric. The moisture can be wicked away very rapidly for improved body temperature regulation. Coolmax is made of 100% polyester.

DIGITAL
A very high quality, soft and flexible material that is used for the palms of gloves, 58% polyester, 42% polyurethane.

DRYCLIM
A technically developed material composed of microfibres that is designed to expel sweat and provide maximum comfort for the athlete. It controls humidity by absorbing and expelling sweat.

ELASTHANE
A material that gives elasticity to fabrics.

INTERPOWER
A long-lasting finish that enhances the wicking away of perspiration from the body to the fabric’s outer surface for rapid drying. The body remains dry, giving maximum support.

LINING
A 100% polyester fabric with a mesh (open hole) structure, normally used for the lining of jackets.

LYCRA
A highly elastic material that retains its characteristics even with prolonged, frequent use. Items featuring Lycra retain their perfect fit, provide a great deal of comfort and offer optimum freedom of movement. Lycra consists of 80% polyamide, 20% elasthane.

LYCRA POWER
A material that uniquely combines high stretch and high compression characteristics, which helps to reduce muscle fatigue and improve the accuracy and efficiency of movement to boost performance. It consists of 80% polyamide, 20% elasthane.

MERYL MICROFIBRE
A fabric that is highly stretchable and very soft to the touch. It also wicks perspiration away from the body into the outer air. It is made of 80% polyamide, 20% elasthane.

MESH
A 100% polyester, mesh fabric with an open hole structure. This material is used on the back of wind vests.

SBR
Styrene Butadiene Rubber with a fabric thickness of 3 mm. It consists of 78% SBR, 22% polyamide.

SBR WITH P.U. COATING
Styrene Butadiene Rubber with a fabric thickness of 3 mm and a polyurethane coating for optimum protection from wind, rain and cold. It is made of 78% SBR, 22% polyamide.

NYLON FLEECE WITH P.U. COATING
A material used for shoe covers which are flexible and therefore comfortable and have taped seams. The polyurethane coating is water-repellent. It is made of 100% polyamide.

POLYAMIDE
A breathable fabric with moisture regulating characteristics.

POLYESTER
A material that offers optimum moisture regulating characteristics, is fast drying, lightweight and comfortable.

RESISTEX
A fabric that is anti-static because its special conductive fibres absorb and dissipate electrical charges produced and accumulated by the external environment or during physical activity. It speeds up the evaporation of perspiration, slows down the formation of humidity on the skin and keeps the temperature constant. Resistex protects the body from the absorption of static energy, electrosmog and UV rays. It respects the skin and protects it from bacteria and pollutant dust, eliminating the risk of annoying allergies. During physical activity it lowers the concentration of lactic acid, improving the circulation of the blood and oxygenation of the cells.

SENSITIVE
The fabric that sets creativity free. This material offers an exceptional versatility that makes it irreplaceable. Thanks to its extraordinary softness and superb technological performance it is a pure pleasure to wear. Sensitive consists of 80% polyamide (Meryl Microfibre), 20% elasthane.

SHIMANO WF LIGHT
A lightweight 100% polyester fabric that prevents wind from passing through. The fabric is soft to the touch and therefore gives a comfortable feeling. This material was specially developed for our Originals wind vest and windbreaker, which fold into a small package that you can easily take along with you on your bike rides.

SHIMANO TECHNIUM 10.000
A 100% polyester fabric that has a waterproof membrane (WP10.000mm) with a breathability level of MVP10.000g/m2/day. Technium 10.000 is a technical fabric that repels rainwater yet is still lightweight.

SHIMANO TECHNIUM 12.000
A 100% polyamide fabric with a waterproof membrane (WP12.000mm) and a breathability level of MVP10.000g/m2/day. Technium 12.000 is a technical fabric that is waterproof while still allowing perspiration to escape.

SILICONE GRIPPER ELASTIC
A material that helps prevent hems from moving up. Shimano uses the custom-made gripper elastic in the hems of the race shorts and shirts.

SPANTEX
A stretchable fabric used for glove uppers, offering excellent breathability and durability. It consists of 90% polyamide, 10% elasthane. (NO SYMBOL AVAILABLE)

TEFLON
Dupont has treated these fabrics with Teflon fabric protector. As a result, water rolls off and soil and stains are easily wiped off.

TREK-DRY FIBRE
A fabric made by incorporating a natural material into the fibre through the use of special techniques. So far, this is the only product in the world that promotes human health through three specific characteristics. When your body heat increases, moisture is pulled away from your skin. This leaves you dry, comfortable and odour-free.

X-STATIC
A fabric that is anti-odour as a result of the use of pure silver, which inhibits the growth of bacteria in the garment. It has thermodynamic properties, because silver is the most reflective and conductive element. This will keep you more comfortable at all temperatures. It is anti-static, because silver instantly dissipates electrostatic charges.

PERFECT FIT
To serve the many different types of riders we have developed different size specifications for each segment. This assures a perfect fit for every sort of rider.

SPORTS FIT
The Sports fit was developed to deliver satisfaction and comfort to the sportive cyclist. The Sports fit features in our Originals and Indoor segments. These products are not too tight and certainly
not too baggy, but hug your body shape.

RACE FIT
Specially developed for men’s and women’s items. Items featuring the Race fit follow your body shape perfectly so that you can perform optimally. The Race fit is used for the Performance items.

COMPETITION FIT
Items with the special Competition fit are developed without compromise and offer aerodynamic benefits. The Competition fit
is used for the Performance Premium line.

CASUAL FIT
Developed for recreational riders who like to wear loose fitting cycling wear. You will find the Casual fit within our Adventure and Casuals segments.
